Italian Design awarded in USA and UK

Today we are announcing two important achievements by TONETTIDESIGN and they both happened in the past few hours.

PINNACLE AWARD 2015​

Tonetti Gianpietro together with Dexo Orsenigo srl have won the first prize at the Pinnacle Design Award 2015, one of the most important American Design Awards. The Italian partnership has been awarded thanks to the delightful Albatros table that you can see below.

“Over 270 of the furniture industries best and brightest were in attendance. It was a smashing success.” Said John D Conrad, Executive Director of the American Society of Furniture Designers.

“The Italian Design establishes itself also in the quite traditional American market. This is a prize I share with the Orsenigo family that, once again, trusted in a concept of mine and sponsored important investments to make it real.” Said Tonetti Gianpietro.

LONDON INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE COMPETITION

TONETTIDESIGN has won the Honorable Mention at the London International Creative Competition with BISKUI, a 3D printed lamp system.

The advent of new technologies such as 3D printing, has led us to start thinking about and designing products that can be produced with these tools. BISKUI is a series of lamps created to be realized with filament 3D printers - FFF technology. Anyone can produce this product. All you need is a 3D printer and the simple addition of a bit of wire and a pair of lamp holders.

The project is design so that it could be used in three way: as a floor lamp, as a wall lamp or as a suspension lamp.
